With only days away till the 2010 Geneva Motor Show in Switzerland, some shots of the Ferrari 599 Hybrid have hit the Internet. I don't have any information regarding the car but it looks like it may have some sort of KERS that Ferrari was using F1 for the 2009 season. Now its no secret that KERS has been banned from F1 but that doesn't mean Ferrari cant make a effort to use the Kinetic Energy Recovery System on their road cars. Not sure if I'm feeling that color....
2010 F1 Safty Car will be a Mercedes Benz SLS. Personally i dont want to see to much of this car around the track, hoping that its not gonna be that kind of season.
The FIA today has released the new points system that will be implemented in F1 and WRC. The old points system is gone and in is the new 25-18-15-12-10-8-6-4-2-1. Hopefully this will make for more aggressive driving by the front runners as there is a bigger point gap in between first and second place. Drivers are not gonna be needing to push harder and get points rather than sit back and settle for 2nd or 3rd to get the easy points for a calculated finish.
London is well known for its automotive enthusiast that have some of the wildest and rarest cars ever produced. Seeing cars from Vayrons to SL65 Blackseries to Enzos could be a daily accuracy, but a Ruf CTR3 parked on a side road is just not common. The CTR3 has a top speed of approximately 375 km/h (235 mph), and accelerates from 0–100 km/h in 3.1 seconds and may i say its sexy as fuck. Love everything about this car.
599XX is alive and in person at Valenica. Seven of the 599XX customer got to bring these cars out and do the follow of the theoretical instructions on the telemetry and two sessions of conduction, where the clients are accompanied by an instructor of Ferrari. Just seeing these beauties on the track gives me goosebumps cant even imagine what they are like on the track. Enjoy some of the pictures.
