Novitec 599 twin supercharged 808 whp monster

While America's top tuners make the scene in Las Vegas for this year's SEMA show, aftermarket firms across the pond are still moving ahead at full steam. Case in point, Novitec Rosso's latest take on the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano. The V12 supercar is already one of the fastest and most capable on the market, but the Dutch tuning wizards at Novitec saw fit to strap on a supercharger. Or two. The result? An astonishing 808 horsepower and a stated 823 Nm of torque (equivalent to 607 lb-ft by American standards).
For that much power, Novitec is quoting a 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) run of 3.5 seconds with a top speed in excess of 340 km/h (211 mph). But if you're wondering why an extra 188 horsepower has had such a marginal effect on the "stock" Fiorano's acceleration, consider that Ferrari spent a lot of time perfecting the existing car's performance with the considerable output it already has. But if raw power and top end are what you seek, Novitec's engine enhancements will run you nearly 47,000 euros.
Of course, Novitec is also offering a brake upgrade kit to keep the added power in check, along with three-piece 21-inch rims and an optimized aero kit along with various interior trim options. Now that Lewis Hamilton has secured the Formula One championship, supercar fans around the world are asking when he'll get his hands on that rare McLaren F1 LM. The incredibly valuable supercar – initially reported at $4 million but now apparently worth closer to 8 – was promised to the budding young driver if he won the title. However, the condition was that he win both the drivers title and, together with team-mate Heikki Kovalainen, lock up the constructors' title for the team, as well. Although he won the drivers' championship, the constructors' crown went to arch-rivals Ferrari but since McLaren chief Ron Dennis is such a good sport, he's renegotiated the terms.
If Hamilton manages to repeat his title victory with a hat-trick – that is, take another two championships – he'll get his hands on the bright orange supercar. That's quite a challenge, but Dennis called it a "small price to pay for three world championships." Indeed, but by then McLaren will have a whole slew of supercars on the market for Lewis to choose from. In the meantime, he'd better keep his head down and focus on the prize.

This was the best way a season could of come to a end. After such a amazing season of ups and downs, this season could of not concluded any better. i was jumping up and down yelling and screaming at the TV. well Lewis Hamilton did it. Yesterday he became the youngest F1 champion. It wasnt easy as it came down to the last race the last lap and the last corner in Brazil. he won the championship by 1 point. just the way Kimi did last year over Hamilton, Hamilton did it to Massa. So break down is this... Lewis Hamilton won the drivers chamionship by one point over Felipe Massa. and Ferrari won the constructors championship over Mclaren. this was one of the most exciting and emotional races of the year. if you missed it re-run is on wed. And a farewell to David Cultard for finishing his long carrier as a F1 driver. it was sad to see him crash on the first lap of his final race.
