Mercedes C63 AMG by Edo Competition

So when is 451 horsepower just not enough? When your pockets are deep enough to give the people at Edo Competition a call to make your C63 beast into a 555hp monster. As usual they have done no modifications to the exterior and have focused most of their attention to where it matters the most under the hood. With a new ecu exhaust and header upgrades they have managed to make this into the most powerful C63 to date. Cant say I'm a big fan of the O.Z. wheels but that would be a easy fix.

Its pretty sad day but seems like Wednesday morning BMW-Sauber will officially announce its withdrawal from F1 after the 2009 season. I hope the bleeding stops here and Toyota and Renault can stay in. This can only be blames on the F1's constant rule change every year. In 2008 BMW-Sauber was extremely competitive with McLaren and Ferrari but with the worst rule changes in F1 history in my opinion saw all 3 teams struggle very bad with only McLaren having won a race and Ferrari only having 3 podiums and BMW hardly scoring any points.

Went to my first soccer game since the 1994 world cup in Pasadena. Had a great time this also marked my first time being at Quest Field which is a state of the art stadium and one that i cant wait to visit once the NFL season starts.

599XX

Now this is the kind of blog updates that really give me a hard on. Spy shots of the 599XX being taken for a spin at the informs Fiorano test track. Now from what i can see this 599XX cough is looking a bit different then the car that Ferrari unveiled at the Geneva car show. The car you see here has different front fenders different rear wing and also the roof isn't flat black or dark gray this 599XX has a all read paint theme and also is lacking the Dale Earnhardt special number 3 on its door. Now based on the Ferrari FXX program I'm not expecting the 599XX to be a slow slouch, and considering that the regular 599 uses the Enzo V12 I'm hoping that the same engine the FXX got sees its way into the engine bay of the 599XX and don't rule out Ferrari using some type of Hybrid or KERS system as well. Stay tuned for more updates...

Subaru resealed the all new Impreza WRX STI spec C and with specs like 304 horsepower and 311 lb-ft of torque, Bridgestone Potena RS070, and a 70kg diet the spec C will send Mitsubissh back to the drawing boards, and personally i have always been a fan of the new STI over the new EVO X.

INDEN-Design F430

Possibly just a few months away from the released of the new Ferrari F450 INDEN-Design has released its new areo kit and exhaust system which they claim gains a additional 35hp. A modified front spoiler, and not just for looks, as its there to help the INDEN-Design F430 achieve a top speed greater than 300 km/h. Cant even say I'm a fan of it but its not the worst up grades i have seen for the F430.

Another one almost bites the dust!

Finally a new winner in this wild 2009 F1 season but its still from one of only 2 teams to have won a race this weekend Red Bull. This is a amazing win for Mark Weeber who set a record with his first carrier F1 win coming in on his 130th F1 race. This was the first race of the season that one of the Brawn cars made a podium finish. A strong finish for Massa but another horrific result for Kimi who had radiator damage to his F60 which resulted in a engine meltdown.
