Word is Honda(new name unknown) will be ready to race on the starting grid in Melbourne. using a MB motor. I was inpatient for the release of their 2009 to make a post on the 2009 F1 cars. these will be the cars racing around circuits around the world trying to win the world championship. The anticipation is killing me with what the new cars are capable of. 26 days and counting fellas before the craziness begins

Looking forward to...

i have been watching this build for a little over 2 months now. and the anticipation is killing me. It one of few builds that I'm extremely excited over to see the final product. This gentlemen has major build skills and apparently no budget for the build. Its the first sequential transmission K-swapped car that I'm witnessing as far as a Honda goes. He has a spectacular cage with almost all plastics still intact. dry sump oiling and bad ass fuel setup. Here are a few teaser pictures hope you enjoy.

F430 Replacement

Well first pictures have surfaced of the F430 replacement. Recent speculation has suggested that the new model will be fitted with a 4.5L V8 engine and labeled the F450. By these pictures the car has a slightly longer wheel base and wider track. You can clearly see the center exit exhaust that looks very similar to the Scuderia. Also you can notice that they are working with bigger air intakes for the beastly 4.5L V8. Im hoping that the F430 replacement will be at the Frankfurt auto show towards the end of the year.

Fab Design SLR McLaren

I have never really been into Fab Design whips but this one is just crazy. Earlier this week i had posted the ASMA SLR that was way over the top type of whip but the FAD SLR is just wickedly crazy. I cant even see myself in the ASMA SLR but i would rock the shit out of it. But the FAB SLR is just to wild to even be seen in. More information will be released at the Geneva show coming up next month.

Mirage GT Carbon Edition

2009 Gamballa Mirage GT Carbon Edition. Just picutres released no information at this point except that its in the $1.5 million range and that its roughly making 670hp. But by the looks of its sleek lines and the use of massive amounts of carbon fiber I'd bet it will provide explosive acceleration and F1 type handling

Snuggie

well the other day my good friend Sean got me a Snuggie. I love this thing here is a few things you should know about it. Best deal ever, keeps you really warm, you get a kick ass futuristic reading light with it, last but not least get more then one because your friends are gonna want it and not share.

FXX fire

Here are some amazing FXX shots from the track. Coming into a slow turn you can see the carbon carbon brakes just turn red instantly and the fireball shooting out the back from swift and quick downshifts. Simply amazing.

HKS GT570

Many GTR owners have been waiting for HKS to release its GT570, The turbo has been fitted with upgraded wastegate actuators and Super Fire Racing M45HL spark plugs are added to the engine. Revised power figures are not available but the Racing Package makes a heady 570 hp and 540 lb-ft of torque at the wheels. The addition of "road legal" equipment shouldn't make too much of a difference in performance though.
Pricing for the kit is about $9,700 which is $3,300 more than the r acing package. That's the HKS price for going clean. I'd personally would say fuck it and go for the race package.

ASMA Design SLR

So if you have more money then you know what to do with what do you do with it? I guess you ask ASMA Design to make you a one of a kind SLR with 700 whp. This person who's name has not been released is from Abu Dhabi. He had his 2008 SLR sent over to ASMA for a complete new body. Full carbon fiber front front to back including carbon fibor wheels was seen racing up and down the streets of Abu Dhabi followed by his ASMA S-class. I think the car is different but not my cup of tea. However you cant take away from a one off car. I'm always intrigued by one off cars that oil tycoons have built just for shits and giggles and bragging rights of course. I just wish they had better taste.
